The objective of the HAID Work in Progress initiative is to increase the inclusiveness of our community.

HAID 2022 seeks work in progress submissions (max 4 pages in Springer LNCS format excluding references), which describe recently completed work or highly relevant results of work in progress in all areas related to haptics, audio, and interaction design.

Work in progress submissions will be reviewed by the members of the Programme Committee. Selected submissions will be presented during the dedicated work in progress poster session, but will not be included in the published Proceedings of HAID 2022.

We particularly encourage work in progress submissions from “newcomers”—master students or early-stage PhD Students without a supervisor who is part of the HAID discourse, especially from underrepresented groups.

At the time of submission, authors will be asked to indicate whether they want to be paired with an experienced HAID researcher during the conference (on site or online) to help develop the work-in-progress into a co-authored future HAID submission.
